Ouray Jeep Tours. One of our favorite ways to see the San Juan Mountains is by an all-day or half-day guided scenic tour. Each tour begins in Ouray and quickly climbs into the majestic landscapes of Yankee Boy, Imogene, Black Bear, Engineer, Corkscrew and many more. Whether you are looking for breath-taking mountain vistas, ghost towns, rugged alpine terrain, thundering waterfalls or fields of colorful alpine wildflowers, one of our tours will suit your taste.

You’ll learn history of the areas’ silver and gold mining, see ghost towns and mining structures, and find out about many of the Rocky Mountain wildflowers and wildlife. We make frequent stops for photos and rock collecting. The best part is you can sit back and enjoy the ride. Our skilled guides have over 100 years of combined guiding experience and are dedicated to helping our guests enjoy the best guided 4×4 Scenic Tour available. All our guides are CPR and first aid certified. Rain ponchos and warm blankets are on board our vehicles for your comfort.Our modern and well-maintained tour vehicles include specially modified Dodge Chassis’ and Jeep Wranglers and are inspected by the Public Utilities Commission of Colorado for safety and maintenance.

All day scenic tours depart at 8:00 A.M. and return at 5:00 P.M. Half day tours depart at 8:00 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. Morning departures during May & September to closing are at 8:30 A.M. Children ages 4 through 12 receive reduced ticket prices and Children under 4 are free. We can pickup and drop off wherever you are staying in the Ouray town limits with prior arrangements. AAA and senior (65+) discounts apply.
