PHOTOGRAPHY, EDUCATIONAL & CUSTOM TOURS

Ouray Colorado Photography Tours

High Elevation, Stunning and Scenic Photography:

Ouray photography tours offer photographers of every level the opportunity to capture the incredible San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado. From the highly professional to the talented amateurs, to Instagram enthusiasts…everyone taking a photo can capture the perfect image. Summer brings shimmering waterfalls and colorful wildflowers. In fall, mountainsides glow with brilliant color. In all seasons, you will see wildlife including deer, elk, the fascinating “Whistle Pig” and nimble mountain goats, both re-establishing themselves after having nearly disappeared during the mining days. Remnants and relics of those industrious mining times still scatter the mountainsides. Equally photo worthy, are the still-thriving mining towns  such as Ouray, Silverton, and Lake City featuring vintage ‘Queen-Anne Victorian Era architecture prominent during the late 1880’s.

We are proud to have led many photography groups up into the San Juan Mountains, including Arizona Highways, Elderhostel Photo Workshops and Colorado Synergistic Visions Photography Tours.

Our featured Photo Workshops for 2017 are organized by industry professionals and are open to our guests with advance registration. We can also create a special photo tour for your own group from large to small for an unforgettable San Juan Mountain photography excursion! Check back as additional Photo Workshops are scheduled.
