Alpine Loop – Colorado Scenic Byway & Jeep Tour
The Alpine Loop is one Colorado’s Scenic Byways, and for good reason. Crossing the heart of the San Juan Mountains, this stunning jeep tour ascends over 2 high altitude passes (Cinnamon and Engineer Pass) and passes through some of the most pristine wilderness offered outside of Ouray Colorado and throughout the state. Additionally, the Alpine Loop takes participants through seven ghost towns. Once old mining towns, these now abandoned ghost towns provide you a view into history and what it was like to mine for wealth in the mountains of Colorado many decades ago.
